Why did you decide to start traveling?

We wanted to show the girls our beautiful country!
We wanted to create lasting memories with our girls!
After Covid, I was becoming very burnt out at my home hospital and desired a change.
Traveling was always of interest to us - we decided why not get paid for it?

Why did you choose a RV over a monthly rental like AirBnB or a hotel?

A sense of home - the girls have their own room and beds, we have a space to make our own no matter where we are at.
Packing up every 3 months is a pain!
It's cost effective.
Offered locational flexibility.

What kind of RV do you have?

Why did you choose your RV?

We LOVED the floorplan.
The toy-hauler is perfect for the girls! They have their own space and plenty of room to play!
The couch/tv set-up is great for Brandon's gaming/family movie night!
Our room is on the opposite side from the girl's room.
We have an actual table for family dinner.
We have a full-size fridge and microwave!
We have an extra bed if we have family or friends come visit.
Windows galore - if you are going to be in a smaller environment, daylight is critical to prevent cabin fever

How do the children adjust to so much moving?

The RV helps with this, as they always have their permanent space and a sense of "home"
The kids especially look forward to new locations as it brings a sense of the unknown/excitement concerning recreational activities
They do miss friends but are able to stay in touch digitally with the chance of meeting up later with other travel families we've bonded with

Do you miss your house?

Sometimes! We put a lot of work into making that house our home. We brought our babies home from the hospital there, Nora took her first steps in the living room, and sometimes we miss having the space. Thats why we've adopted the mantra "Home is wherever I'm with you", because home is more than the four walls your surrounded by.
